MODEL: The Original 2023-2024 Honda CR-V Radar Sensor Protector Bracket, NEW (Black) This listing is for a Distance Sensor Protector Apparatus for the Honda CR-V 2023 - 2024 Models. The Distance Sensor Protector was expertly designed and crafted, from durable high-quality steel here in the USA. The Protector Cover is specially designed to fit the radar distance sensor safely and securely in order to prevent it from being stolen while allowing proper functioning. High-quality one-way Security Screws means you can rest assured that any thief will think twice about spending hours if not days trying to unmount your property, and save you both time and money, and the hassle of replacement! The Honda CR-V (2023+) Vehicle Models depend on a valuable Radar Distance Control Unit located on the front of the vehicle, behind the Honda Logo. This Safety Sensor assists the driver with features like Automatic Cruise Control, Lane-Keeping Assistance, and Lane Departure Warning. One does not need any tools in order to unmount the easy-access sensor, within minutes any person can dislodge the vehicle front panel and depart with a valuable safety component. As such it is prime prey for thieves, especially in urban areas. Loss of a sensor like this can set you back a pretty penny, not to mention any fees incurred for vehicle diagnostics. To add to the pain, if the sensor module is replaced there is still a chance it can be stolen again! This is why the specially made anti-theft Distance Sensor Protector from THEFT PROTECTION SOLUTIONS is so important. Instructions: The protector apparatus can be easily installed by a trained technician at a vehicle repair shop. First remove the emblem sensor cover, then simply use the included security screws in order to fasten the protector into place over the sensor. Mounting holes must be drilled. Ensure that the sensor lens is properly aligned with the protector window during installation. In Package: One Protector Apparatus, Four Security Screws Frequently Asked Questions: Where is the protector meant to be installed? The protector is meant to be installed over the radar sensor, behind the front cover panel. This listing is NOT for a plastic front cover panel for the sensor compartment, nor a theft deterrence device for the plastic front cover panel. Is it possible to dismount the protector if it needs to be replaced? Yes, however, due to use of the one-way security screws, the Theft Protection Unit is difficult to dismount. If the radar sensor fails and needs to be replaced, we recommend having a specialist at a car repair shop remove it for you. Alternatively (although we don't recommend), it can be mounted with different screws which may be easier to remove. Will the protector rust easily? No, the protector is made of high-quality steel resistant to corrosive environments. Is the protector compatible with my CR-V Model? The protector is compatible with all CR-V Models from 2023-2024 which have the front radar sensor. Shipping: We will do our best to make sure your item is in transit as soon as possible.
